This privacy policy applies to the Treefe app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Treefe (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

The TREEFE website uses online forms where you may be asked to provide certain bits of personal information. This is necessary to access certain services in the website (e.g. academic courses, donations, registrations, books and Journals) or to take part in surveys. By filling out and submitting the form you are understood to have consented to TREEFE storing and using the information for the purposes for which it has been collected.

We may collect and process facial feature data, such as facial landmarks or face images, for the sole purpose of enabling fun and creative effects like face swaps and filters. This data is processed locally on the user's device and is not transmitted to external servers or shared with third parties. The facial data is processed during the session and is deleted once the user deletes the profile photo. No biometric or facial data is stored or retained after the user has deleted the profile photo.

Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
